Dr. Lois Lambrecht
Meet Dr. Lois Lambrecht
Dr. Lambrecht completed her M.D. in 1980 and postgraduate residency in Internal Medicine in 1984 at Indiana University. Her extensive educational background, with B.A.’s in Sociology and Biology and M.S. in Alternative Education, along with her longstanding relationship with spirituality, are the foundations for her practice in integrative medicine. She was employed by IU School of Medicine for ten years. Following her transition into solo practice in 1993, she founded The Center for Wholism in 1997 and has served as its director since.
Wholistic Consultation
In this consultation, Dr. Lambrecht employs her unique approach to integrative medicine. She meets with patients for a full hour to explore a wide variety of topics related to their health and well being in order to gain a nuanced and comprehensive perspective on their issues. She offers holistic insight and individualized guidance in this meeting, in addition to traditional medical expertise and care. At the close of the consultation, she and the patient reach a mutual decision regarding whether future work together is warranted, or if recommendations for care outside of The Center may be more beneficial to the individual. Many patients choose to consult with Dr. Lambrecht, but maintain their own primary care physician. The fee for this extended visit is $300 and may include a followup meeting to review any testing that may be required.
